Feeding an opinionated family of six is sometimes difficult, but one cuisine we can all agree on is Japanese! The kids love going out for sushi and one of the things we always start with is a house salad with delicious Miso Carrot Ginger Dressing. Now you can have this favorite at home with a few simple ingredients! Use on top of your favorite salad and it even tastes great on grilled fish!
INGREDIENTS
4 oz. carrots (2 medium carrots)
2 TBS Spice Tree Organics Miso Ramen Spice blend
1 oz. fresh ginger, peeled and chopped (this amounts to 3 1/2 to 4 tsp finely grated ginger)
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup neutral oil such as sunflower, grapeseed, or canola
1/4 tsp finely grated fresh garlic
METHOD
Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until chunky-smooth. If smoother consistency is desired use a blender to blend instead of food processor.
